How to get to the Department

The Department is located in the centre of Modena and is very easy to reach:

  • from the bus station (just 100 metres away)
  • from the railway station (about 400 metres away) either on foot, along viale Monte Kosica, viale Fontanelli and then viale Berengario, or by bus: bus n 1 (Villaggio Zeta) or n 4 (Galilei)
  • by car (the nearest motorway exit is Modena Nord; a large car park is available)
  • by plane: the closest airport is Bologna Airport, Aereoporto Guglielmo Marconi (BLQ).
    From there, you can have two alternatives:
    - take a shuttle bus connecting the Airport to Bologna’s train station and then take a train to Modena;
    - take the shuttle bus connecting Bologna Airport directly to the town of Modena. You must get off the bus at the Modena bus station.
