Marco Biagi Department of Economics  promotes student international mobility through a well-established network of collaborations with universities and institutions abroad.
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme (EU and non-EU), the Department offers opportunities for study and traineeships, fostering academic exchange, strengthening inter-university relations, and supporting the development of educational and professional skills in an international context.

The Erasmus+ Programme, established by the European Union, promotes a European Education Area and supports both incoming and outgoing mobility of students and academic staff within higher education institutions.
Through its participation in the programme, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia fosters the exchange of students and academic staff with partner universities in Europe and beyond. Student mobility enables participants to attend courses recognised by their home institution, carry out thesis activities, and, in some cases, obtain a double degree, while academic staff mobility enhances teaching exchange and international cooperation.
Each year, the University signs an Institutional Agreement with the European Commission and, on the basis of bilateral agreements, offers mobility grants for  students enrolled in its degree programmes.
