How to Apply - Exchange Students

To study at our Department as an exchange student (for 1 semester or the whole academic year), just follow these key steps:

1. Nomination

   You must be officially nominated by your Home University. Make sure an Erasmus+ Interinstitutional Agreement for the academic year you are interested in is in place with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

2. Online Application

   After nomination, you will receive login details by email to access the online application.

   At this stage you will:

   • Choose your courses and prepare your Learning Agreement
   • Upload the required documents (PDF) on the platform:
     • Signed Application Form
     • Signed Learning Agreement (from your and your coordinator’s sides)
     • Transcript of Records
     • Valid ID/Passport
     • Passport-size photo (.jpg)

Once submitted, the International Relations Office will forward your Learning Agreement to the Marco Biagi Economics Department Erasmus Coordinator for final approval.
